The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture (UITA) once again welcomed enthusiasts to its annual celebration of agriculture, tailgating, and the Big Orange spirit at Ag Day. This year, attendees were treated to an array of engaging activities hosted by our department.
Assistant professor Jennifer Tsuruda delighted visitors with an opportunity to witness the queen bee in action within the hive. This captivating display provided an insightful glimpse into the fascinating world of beekeeping and pollination.
Professor Jerome Grant hosted the ever-popular cricket spittin’ contest. Participants showcased their prowess in this unique competition, demonstrating the spirit of camaraderie and fun that defines Ag Day.
