On August 21, 2020, the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture recognized members of faculty and staff across the state at its annual awards and promotions event. Honorees were recognized virtually during a Zoom presentation.
Alan and Mark Windham, professors in the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology, were recognized during the event as 2020 winners of the Cavender Award for Rose Diseases: Identification and Management (Publication W 833). The publication provides examples of common diseases that affect rose bushes and advises Tennessee growers on steps they may take to help their plants should these diseases be identified.
In addition, Kimberly Campbell, the business manager for the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology, is the winner of a brand-new honor, the AgResearch Dean’s Award for Outstanding Professional Staff. Campbell offers expertise in financial management, policy, and human resources.
The department extends heartfelt congratulations to Kimberly Campbell, Alan Windham, and Mark Windham for their achievements.
