Swati Mishra, a Ph.D. student under the tutelage of Professor Juan Luis Jurat-Fuentes, was announced as a recipient of the prestigious FFAR Fellowship. The FFAR Fellows Program provides professional development and career guidance to the Future Leaders for Food & Agriculture. 26 students from across the U.S. and Canada were chosen for this honor.

As an FFAR Fellow, Mishra will benefit from professional development and career guidance tailored to her aspirations. Sponsored by Bayer Crop Science, Mishra will receive support for half of her expenses which will help her develop the skills necessary to collaborate with industry partners.
